Getting Here
Warning:
Some sat navs will take you into town; we recommend driving onto the esplanade before following any directions to the Chapel Mews because the road becomes quite narrow.
Once you have booked we will send you a digital guest guidebook around two weeks before your arrival.
1 Chapel Mews is around 10 miles from Junction 30 on the M5, follow the signs for Sidmouth on the A3052. there is a right turn on the A3176 near The Bowd Public House but if you miss this one, you can take the next right turn which is Woolbrook Road.
Just follow either of these roads to the seafront, do not follow google into the town precinct, it gets narrow if you do! If you took the A3052 when you get to the seafront, you will need to turn left. Look out for The Marine Restaurant on your left which has just been painted green, turn down Chapel Street, just before the restaurant and follow the road round to the large Chapel (This is now Sidmouth Toy Museum). Turn into the chapel car park on your right.
If you took the Woolbrook Road turning and came into Sidmouth down the High Street, you will need to turn right when you get to the seafront. Look out for The Marine restaurant (you can't miss it, it's just been painted green!), and turn right just after it. Continue along Chapel Street until you pass the Chapel on your right, turn into the car park and there will be a parking place marked 1 Chapel Mews at the bottom of the car park.
Parking here is free, which is a real benefit during the busy season.
Please park with respect for others, parking is a premium and can be problematic in Sidmouth!
Please note some roads in Sidmouth and surrounding areas can be narrow.
